Enisei-STM prop Valery Morozov helped the Russian side into the Continental Shield final with a simply stunning try in their 27-26 victory over Krasny Yar last weekend in Krasnoyarsk.
The 23-year-old – who scored two tries in last season’s Challenge Cup – collected a loose ball off the ground on his own 25 metre line, beating three Krasny Yar opponents as he sprinted 75 metres to score an incredible try.
Enisei-STM – who won last season’s Continental Shield with a 36-8 win over Krasny Yar in Edinburgh – took a 25-point lead into the second leg after a 47-22 win in Krasnodar and finished the job off with a narrow victory away from home.
